DARIEN WOMAN'S CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS

The Darien Woman’s Club is an organization that exists to “promote charitable endeavors, cultural improvements, civic pride and unity among the women of the City of Darien and the surrounding communities.

 To encourage young people to be involved in their community and in the fine arts, the club awards four scholarships to students living in Darien, including neighboring areas. 

The Community Service Scholarship is awarded to two high school seniors based on their volunteer service.  Each student scholarship is $1,000. 

The Fine Arts Scholarship is awarded to two students entering 7th-12th grade for the 2010-2011 school year.  Each of the Fine Art Scholarships is $350.  It is to be used in the summer of 2010 for a class or camp in the area of fine arts.
