Darien Woman's Club - May Banquet
May Banquet - Last Membership Meeting of the Club Year! Join us to celebrate our club year and install our new officers!
There will be a plated dinner including salad and dessert. There will be a CASH bar (no credit cards).
Banquet tickets will be available for purchase at our membership meetings by check (payable to Darien Woman’s Club), via Zelle or via Paypal. Cost is $50 per person ($53 if paying via Paypal). Absolutely NO refunds after April 24th!

DWC and Darien Historical Society Plant Sale Pick-up
Drive-Thru plant pick-up from 11am-1pm on the grounds of Old Lace Schoolhouse & Museum.

4th of July Parade
Enjoy our 53rd annual Independence Day Parade. Come out and join us in this celebration of our nation's independence.
Show our appreciation for Darien Woman’s Club and all groups and individuals that work so hard to make both the United States and Darien terrific places to live.
Beginning at Jewel, the parade will proceed north on Cass Avenue to 71st Street. At 71st Street the parade will head east until Clarendon Hills Road where it will go south towards the end point at Hinsdale South High School.

Doors open at 6:30pm, The program will begin promptly at 7pm. This month our speaker will be Karyn Andersen who is the Sustainability Program Manager at Argonne National Laboratory. She will talk about Argonne’s sustainability program and how Argonne’s science helps build our sustainability work and beyond, including renewable energy and solar power for Midwest environmental conditions.

Lunch Bunch

Darien Woman's Club Scholarships
Today is the last day to apply for one of our club’s scholarships.
The Darien Woman’s Club offers a community service scholarship to two high school seniors who have contributed considerable time in the area of community service and plan to attend college in the fall of 2024.
The fine arts scholarship is to encourage student development in the fine arts and to give them the opportunity to attend a summer camp or class in their area of interest. Two scholarships are awarded and must be used during the summer of 2024. The award will be made payable to the camp or school.

Today is the last day to purchase Lou Malnati’s frozen pizza coupons! All orders and payment must be delivered to Jenny O. Cash or check (payable to Darien Woman’s Club) is accepted.
Each coupon costs $15 and is good for one 9” frozen deep dish pizza (cheese, sausage, pepperoni or spinach).

GFWC 5th 6th District Meeting
Join GFWC District 5/6 for a district meeting and High Tea please see the sign-up sheet at our March membership meeting.
This event is scheduled for Saturday, March 9th , from 11:00a – 1:00p at Oak Brook Drury Lane.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, there will be a guest speaker, a service project, a glass of champagne, and delicious tea breads, scones, finger sandwiches and desserts. The cost is $50 per person.
Darien Woman's Club - Membership Meeting

Creative Youth Art Fair
The Darien Woman’s Club CREATIVE YOUTH ART FAIR celebrates the young creative energy in our community and the importance of Art in our lives.
This free event exhibits various types of art media created by youth Pre-K through 12th Grade in the Darien area. Awards will be presented at 3:15pm.
The public is encouraged to visit the fair on Sunday for a warm activity that will energize you for Spring.
